Your parents had the intent of overstaying their presence here so you KNEW from the beginning that you were going to commit something illegal beforehand. Yes, you were given a ticket, but that ticket had an expiration date so basically you're also trespassing at this point because the grass is greener and you liked smoking it.
The only reason this whole thread is a mess is because some of you feel entitled and that someone owes you something. All I'm saying is that I understand other people who doesn't qualify for the DA, but why persecute someone and feel that you're way better than they are when technically you're on the same boat trying to stay afloat.
I know there are only a few who qualify for the DA, and that's us, obviously. But all I'm saying is that it doesn't make you any better than someone who makes your dinner at a restaurant, or pick the vegetables and fruits that you consume. I'm glad that we qualify for the DA if it does go through, but that is no reason to be less mindful of someone sharing the same status we are at this moment.
