Well, lets see how the new guidelines play out next year. If it turns out that they truly are not deporting people, then we could find "creative" ways to benefit. Like you mentioned, having an asylum case denied and closed(thus eligible for work permit after 150 days), or walking to ICE and turning yourself in(like I saw in another article). But for now, no one wants to be the guinea pig to test if they will get deported, lol.
