Think about it. Republicans have nothing to gain and everything to lose if they are passed the whatever dream act before the election. They wont deal with comprehensive immigration reform because of the revenue that undocumented immigrants generate and they know we don't have as many right as the rest of the population, if any at all .

Very true, but if they manage to pass this bill. They will kill two birds with one stone. For starters they will steal some latino votes from dems this may just tip the balance in key states. Lets keep in mind that this will be a very tight race between obama and romney. Secondly, why do you think they are proposing visas? Because with visas we dint gain any rights, we dont vote, we dont get social services such as Medicare, unemployment, college loans backed by the government, in other words we are still at the bottom of the society. We are just not deportable. And by passing this only a smaller amount of undocumented people will benefit. Those who meet all requirements and finish college or military. And after they pass this you know how long it will take for the CIR to pass?? It will take many many more years. Think about it. They steal latino votes, only the more sympathetic people get to have a visa without social benefits but with socials so of we work we pay taxes. And on top of that they still keep 7-9 million illegals to exploit and use as political football for future elections.
Politics is a game in which you have a number of chips, you need to use and abuse those chips but sooner or later you have to spend them. But be careful not to spend them all so you can comeback and play again.
