Either way, we are here now and Obama still sucks. It’s just that his opponent sucks even more.
This is where I piss you off and ask you to prove it to me (you'll get pissed off trying to find proof in futility). Because if you are basing all that on a matter of opinion it is not backed up by our situation, and opinions are not what we should be using to discuss the past, but our logic. Like I said before their priority is American citizens no matter what they can do. It takes time and effort to write up things like Obamacare and moreover it takes even more time to get it agreed upon and eventually passed. Using my logic this is what I determined. Obama says he'll sign the DREAM act if it is put on his desk. He is not willing to do an executive order because of reasons I'm not entirely sure of. So this means he will pass it only if it passes the House and the Senate. Doesn't mean he isn't doing anything about it, but that is the process. Take it or leave it. And "a lot of republicans" is an overstatement, and I'm laughing because you only used one example.

Now from what I understand an executive order to be, and why it would be a bad idea. Most of you guys think it is the only thing that will save us, and the President sucks for not using his power to give us relief, and that because he doesn't use an executive order he is a big fat liar and doesn't care about our futures. Yeah... umm.. whatever reason you have for thinking like that... STOP IT! If he used an executive order, which is the single most powerful weapon in his arsenal, he would look stupid. How does passing the DREAM act benefit Americans that much? We are not gonna magically improve the economy in a day, let alone 5 years. None the less we would improve it, but not to a degree where it warrants an executive order. Also we are not all in danger of losing our lives in the next few days. So yeah there is not enough incentive to pull out his mega weapon. And even if he did, it would go to trial for being against the law and we would still have to wait until the trial ended. And Congress would still not be for it so they can repeal it. It is just overall not a solid solution, and any President would be very foolish to even attempt it.
