And in the mean time we get nothing? No work authorization? No driver's license? Not even a visa? And just sit by as year after year states create more and more laws designed to make our lives worse?
If this is what the road ahead looks like, then I don't know what will happen to the undocumented population here.
It makes me realize that the Obama administration never saw SB1070 or these other laws coming. They thought everything was going to be roses and sunshine until the 2012 election. While they wait 10 years to fix a problem 20 years in the making, the U.S. will suffer and watch other countries that have adjusted their immigration policy to fit their economic needs flourish.
I guess they don't care about that, though.
