In my opinion, it your packet is perfectly fine. If you were able to get your biometric appointment and you even had it completed then it means its definitely not that you have to turn in more evidence from the packet. To me, the RFE is solely from the the Biometrics results. You said you dont have a criminal history and your case is more than perfect since you came here at a young age, received a H.S. diploma and even attended college. You also proved all requirements. Therefore, it definitely has to do with the SS# and your background check.

BUT, dont worry because you are not a criminal and everyone in this country who cant work make them up all the time. What I am thinking is that they will be asking you to prove that it is yours since they saw it wasnt. I am sure too that it will have an option to prove or state that it was made up and no illegal acts were made. So again im sure you will just need to let them know that it was made up and that you were confused about that question and did not know it was only asking for ss# officially assigned by the SSAdministration.

DONT STRESS, you meet all the requirements and you are not a criminal so you have nothing to worry! It was just a misunderstanding that can be easily fixed. I will pray for all you guys.

I am an attorney, and I am stating my experience after nine years of handling immigration cases, and having clients come to me after trying to do their cases themselves, and getting denied. Personally, I have never gotten a denial after an RFE because of lack of evidence, because I know what I am doing. I have gotten RFEs, and often they ask for something that I had already sent them. I just send it again along with the blue sheet, and everybody is happy. The people that answer an RFE without sending everything correctly the second time have always, in the past, gotten denied, and then they hire me. But it is true that this time they may be trying to be extra helpful to the large number of young people trying to do it themselves. However I would strongly recommend being extra careful to fully comply with the RFE rather than rely on that they may issue a second one.
