I'm just stating what I know and also forgot to mention something important.The 'approval notice' not only comes with the EAD but is actually an I-797D.On that Notice it should state the individual should keep it for their records....which is important.I believe for the renewal process the I-797D will be a key piece of evidence so don't throw it away if you have gotten approved.
