This is just a lesson in the limits of Presidential power. The same thing happened on climate change legislation. And this is why we need to elect people up and down the ballot -- from the President to Senators to Congressmen -- who support immigration reform.
No, he promised he would pass immigration reform. Yes, it was Congress's inaction that killed it, but again, don't promise something you know 100% that you won't fulfill.
