YOU CAN fight it, if you can produce
- A I-551 Legal Permanent Resident Card
- A Visa valid for more than 2 years
- A US Birth Certificate
- A US Passport
- A USC naturalization certificate
- Proof of Asylum, Refugee
from the top of my head those would be the only documents that might get you somewhere.
