What you're going to get is most likely a temporary legal status, but with a clear path to LPR, then citizenship. Anybody with a green card can file for citizenship after 5 years. If you get a temporary status that can be converted to green card in 2 years, you're 7 years away from becoming a citizen.

I don't think so,It is possible in extremely very limited circumstances.I helped an individual about 3 1/2 year ago through Section 322 of the Immigration and Naturalization Act (INA).The parent was a Naturalized US citizen but didn't want their children only to have Residency so went the "Facilitated Naturalization" route.The child in question was a 17 year old Dreamer at the time of application.
