I was wondering if anyone's CA ID or DL is only valid for the amount of time allotted on your work permit. I recall that the lady at the DMV office told me it was only for 2 yrs b/c my work permit is only for 2 yrs.
Some of you have said it expires in 2017 but did anyone only get their ID's for 2 years?
My ID hasn't come in yet so I was just wondering.

P.S. They took my picture before I took the written test.
