I sent a letter to the IRS informing them of my new SSN (and enclosed copies of both my ITIN and the SS card) almost two weeks ago. But I haven't received confirmation of it. Did you all receive a letter from the IRS or do you have to call? What exactly is the protocol to follow given a certain period of time has passed since you've sent the letter?
