Worst case scenerio... They tell you No. No biggy. Oh and I wanted to do that last month. I called the DMV first and lady over the phone was shockingly really nice when I asked her. Her response was that if I was elgible for an EAD then I need it to wait for the SS. I had told her yes so i just thank her, told her Id wait and hang up. But that was then this is now so i'd give it a shot.

Mine never updated by the time I got it, It was still app being process. Have you tried calling the 1800 #?
