I do not anticipate the same problems with the senate that we had with DREAM back in 2010. In 2010, it was a rushed proposal trying to be passed at the 11th hour. Actually, It was the only bill on the agenda that didn't pass If I remember correctly.
This time there is more bipartisanship, so I believe the senate will be easier. The house is another question, it seems more republicans in the house are in favor of doing this sequentially, border first, legalization after an advisory bored has deemed the border "secure."
