No. Whatever it takes for the CIR to pass. 15 years being legalized, able to work, drive and travel is a LOT better than being undocumented for 15 more years.

Yes DA User you should wait 15 years before obtaining a green card and 10 years to apply f0r citizenship

aren't like you 31+ now?
Why does it matter how old is someone?

In a heartbeat.

Why? because 15 years is gone in a blink of an eye. I'm 37 so it would mean I'd get it when I'm 52 and I'm still ok with it because during that time, my life would no longer be on hold. I can get a real job, live in the part of the country I want to live in, travel, meet new people, get married etc. And without the restrictions I have now, a lot of things can happen in 15 years. I could get married 2 years from now and get my green card. Family sponsorship could kick in before that. A company might sponsor me. You never know.

I'm not saying 15 years is ideal but compared to what we have now - the "maybe they'll pass a great bill tomorrow" that I've heard about for 27 years, I'll do 15 year standing on my head.
I agree with you. I would go for it in a heartbeat also. Every individual comes from a different background. One would have to be in someone's shoes to experienced how it is to be undocumented for a long long time.

40 years being legal is sure better than 40 years being undocumented.

You are literally the only person I know who has been here more than 25 years and not found a way of fixing his status. I think my friends sister held that record for 18 years but then he got married. However, why you havent is your own business and I won't ask about it
That is just 1 person that knows one person who has been here more then 25 years. An undocumented could be here from 1982 and still be undocumented today.

Who is bringing in parents here? From my research, parents brought their kids to USA for a better life.
