There's always the option of returning to your home country if one does not like the requirements. I agree with the bill. It's not amnesty. It's punitive. People broke the law. Rubio said it best, it's easier to return home and take the 5-10 year ban than to go through all the red tape.
What do people really expect? The amnesty in 1986 was for 3 million. Would they do it again for 11 million??? Especially in a depressed economy with unemployment over 7%. Yeah right.
Shit sucks. But listen at least dreamers are getting thrown a bone. Which we should. We can apply for our parents but in reality be for real.
The only thing I would think would be unfair is the age cap on the dream act. If you were brought here as child and you missed the age requirement because the politicians couldn't pass the bill in time then you shouldn't be punished.
Otherwise if you were an adult and crossed the border illegally or over stayed your visa why would you expect to be his "forgiven"?? It's a nation of laws. Shit sucks but its America
