Ink is actually fairly cheap.. I bought 2 boxes worth of ink for $15.. That's enough for 10s of thousands of papers

Probably the remanufactured cartridges...
However, its cheaper if you refill them. I bought a liter bottle of ink for $10. I refilled the cartridge twice or three times and the bottle is still at 95% full. I print a lot of postage and invoices everyday.
