^That is my concern. This isn't a biometrics appointment where you can do a walk-in. You have to wait on your court date and some states will have a faster turn around time than others because their populations are smaller. In the mean time how do you work? How do you drive?

Will this go on your criminal record? How will this affect future employment? Unless this is all just some sort of formality and we are then able to get our paperwork from USCIS, this could do more harm than good.
