It was a vote on an amendment to H.R. 2217, "to prohibit the use of funds to finalize, implement, administer, or enforce the "Morton Memos". DACA was one of these Morton Memos.

The final bill would not become effective until sometime in 2014, and it still has to go through reconciliation. Finally, in two years there will be nothing stopping Obama from re-issuing this particular directive to DHS.
