On another note, why didn't the senators discuss with the house republicans first before writing their own bill. I feel if both chambers collaborated from the very beginning then something could have been done by now. But, the senate bill which was worked on for about 2 months is just sitting there. Seems like a colossal waste of time.

its sitting there because the house wont take on their bill , plain and simple , in the houses hands now
