I honestly think this is hurting the CIR push. Why in the world did they do this?

What good reasons do they have to apply for asylum? They are all coming from Mexico...sure it's very violent over there but I've heard that many Mexicans have tried to petition for TPS for Mexicans because of the violence and obviously that's not going to happen.

I think they just went YOLO on us. Besides, they would not qualify for DACA because they were either not present here in the US and/or left before they were even approved for it.

I'm very sure that it must be horrible to be deported but they really should've been a little patient. Wasn't CIR going to include a section for those that had been deported?

Also, supporters of the D.A. have always mentioned how we were brought to the U.S. with no proper documentation through no fault of our own. How are they holding up to that when they as adults decided to leave and now return with no papers. I am just in shock.

I truly wish the best for them and I wish they were allowed back in but let's be realistic if that does happen that will really hurt CIR.
