When I become a doctor, I am not letting even a cent of my money go to this bullshit of a state. If I end up living in New Mexico and need to go to California, I'll make sure to go around Arizona so that I won't pay any gas money, restaurant money, or hotel money to these fucks. If there's a medical convention in Arizona, fuck 'em. I'm staying home. If the plane I'm riding in is rerouted to Phoenix, and I'm forced to spend a night there, I'm sleeping in the Airport and waiting until I'm on the plane to buy something to eat.

A good friend of mine is doing his Ph.D, and his thing is the water conservation policy in Arizona. His current dissertation is arguing that, decreasing waterfall coupled with Colorado/California being stingy with its water and rapid population expansion in Phoenix, the state will undergo a "violent economic turnover" as the water availability and population water consumption coincides - water policy will rapidly become near-draconic, and that will kill property values, which will kill the state economy and make AZ an economic and literal wasteland.

God, I hope he's right.
