As much as I wish them to be slaughtered in the next House elections, the Tea Party Republicans are relatively safe due to gerrymandering.

The only scenario that I can see happening that could alter the stalemate would be if the Establishment Republicans decided they had enough of the Tea Party ruining their Republican Brand. Then, they would go on to publicly denounce the Tea Party Movement and sponsor pro business heavyweight contenders in the Tea Partiers' home districts. They wouldn't be able to get them all. However, they would get just enough seats as to render the Tea Party movement completely irrelevant again.
