hmm if I was someone in need of an affordable health care plan, I'd rather want that to get implemented and whatnot than have a CIR that will only benefit a certain amount of people. Obama wanted his stuff to get done until a CIR could on his mind but honestly with all that drama that happened this year, he should have take advantage of it and push unto a CIR.
But a CIR was dead from the start, or rather, the House just never wanted to pass it. Even though all they are doing are trying to get the hopes up of the people who would benefit from a CIR to get their families vote into the republicans.
But at this point I think they dont really care about a CIR and known the general population are done with them. Why add "future" voters into the pile of anti republican people who "one day" will vote democrat?
