I hate feeling this because we were them many years ago. However, I think that this influx of illegal immigrants crossing over makes the situation worse for those of us who have been here for a decade or more. It adds fuel to the fire, and this influx of people will only reinforce the ideas of those who oppose immigration reform.

I agree with you on this.
These newcomers will destroy the CIR efforts. Also, the new comers will make our kids compete with the entire world for *limited* funding, for *limited* schooling, for *limited* jobs, etc.
They are not eligible for DACA. They cross the borders on their own will. They are different from most of the Dreamers who were brought here by the parents.
