The anger I'm seeing on this forum about the border crossing children is misplaced IMO. Sure it seems like more fuel for the antis but let's remember that the reason why DACA even came about is due to the inaction or the obstruction of any real legislation. Plus, these children unlikely made there decision to cross the border themselves. It's more likely they were goaded by parents or other adults. Then there are the conditions in their countries of origin; if as the Honduran politician says, that the US consumption of illicit drugs helps to drive violence then there is some responsibility on the US side.

I was really conflicted about the border crossing children, though, esp when there are dreamers who didn't benefit from DACA and have been waiting years for reform. This whole situation is just a shit show.
