I am not saying it out of frustration or some kind of bias, I really think the immigrant voters that stayed home or voted Republican (because they think maybe the repubes would help them moreso than the Democrats) would have voted Democrat if they saw a point to it, but some are now saying "meh, why bother, politicians will be politicians, either Democrat or Republican".

And even if the Democrats don't lose the Senate, then I believe it didn't have to be so close to them losing and they could've been a bit more safe with a latino voting bloc surge.

I am not totally educated on this stuff, but it is just a gut feeling. Now-a-days, all I am hearing is how latino voters are pissed, or staying home, or possibly voting Republican, its like the real secret behind winning the Senate has been revealed.
Well I recently read an article on this and it actually suggested the opposite of what you're saying. The Republicans regardless are poised to make massive gains in the Senate. So I don't think the executive action would have helped Democrats in any way either and I guess in this case the costs outweighed the benefits for Obama and Co. by issuing executive action before the elections. But for sure you can expect something after from all the buzz lately. This guy is a master politician.
