Granting deferred action to parents of USC and LPR is not nothing. That's a big deal for millions of Americans and even some dreamers who come from mixed status families. The president could very easily sit back and so nothing like his "genuine" republican counterparts but he is choosing to do something instead. We should all be grateful that more people will able to partake in the benefits that DACA has given many dreamers.

Damn, that's good for writing on a phone. I agree with you for the most part. I had a feeling he was going to start with parents of USC, then spouses, and so on. But it doesn't seem he will even do spouses unless there are children involved. That alone hinted he would not consider parents of DACA beneficiaries. He is trying to wrap things around USC and PR.
