I didn't mean it that way. I meant it depends on the hidden and personal costs that you perceive to face. In my case, I gave up on the PhD route, because I don't want to be getting a PhD while I have a baby because I think that I will have enough time to spend with my baby. There are other social costs too that I don't think are worth me going to a PhD program now. That's why I said the whole issue is personal and that it is not to late in terms of age. Good luck with Medical school. When you become a doctor, give me a discount ok.
