Wait, aren't you in Texas?
I can't hold the entire state accountable for the acts of the rural and suburban voters. I know many people who were actively involved in trying to get votes for Wendy Davis. I've also met some of the most wonderful friends and all the people I care about are here. Texas will eventually turn blue but I'm not sure if I want to be around to suffer through while it happens. Or maybe I'm stubborn and instead of going after the low hanging fruit of a liberal state, stay here and take pleasure out of seeing the Republicans run out of the state.
As far as my attorney and application goes, I've been talking to them all week getting my stuff together and we were ready to go as soon as the official application was released and we knew the exact application fees. Not sure why you guys keep harping on the "expensive lawyer" as if it somehow puts me behind the eight ball.
