"Depend" is a gross exaggeration. What other choice do immigrants have since we can't vote. If Republicans don't give a shit and Democrats suddenly decide to stop pandering to the Hispanic vote because they don't want to be bothered there's nothing immigrants can do about it. Political suicide... hardly. What fickle Americans will do is decide to stay home or vote for Republican because that will show 'dem Democrats not to mess with us.
