I understand what you mean when it comes to punishing people who break the law and yes logically that would the correct thing to do. But you also have to look at the other side of the coin and realize that not every has the same economic resources to go through the whole process. A lot of this people risked their lives to come to the U.S , most of them were families who's desperation and necessity to provide for their loved ones became too big and that is the reason that they decided to risk their own lives and their families. Because no parent in their right mind would ever put their own family in such great danger unless they absolutely had no other choice. Let me ask you wouldn't you've done the same??

Furthermore, You said something about Illegals taking jobs from U.S citizens or people who have the right to work here. You also said that there's already 80 million on the workforce and another 11 million if you count the Illegals. I never really understood how that came to about because the way I see it, is 2 individuals go to an interview one who is documented and the other who is not and from what I remember the employer makes the decision as to who to hire. Now, I know there's a good chance you might rebuttal with the reason is because Illegals work for less or Illegals do not pay taxes etc. Believe it or not, the U.S was and continues to be founded on cheap labor. For example, your clothes, your electronics, even the technical support for almost all electronic devices is on cheap labor and that because we outsource for everything. Are your really going to tell me that everything you buy is made 100% in the U.S. As far as Illegals not paying taxes and receiving government benefits will that ain't true. Most Illegals who work, work for companies who pay them with a company check for the exception of a few who might work for someone independently and get paid cash. But most of Illegals do their taxes using their IRS number because they don't want to call any unwanted attention and it's rare if they ever get any kind of return. Also, from what I remember Illegals can't get any kind of benefits from the U.S and unless you have a kid who was born here and even then most won't ask for any kind of government help because they are too afraid that they might get deported.
1. If someone that desperate file for asylum when entering the states.
2. When it comes to illegals taking jobs I was talking about if we give them work permits.
3. The rest of your statement is irrelevant because none of them have a good reason to why we should get anything.
4. It doesn't matter whether someone is risking their lives. They know risks, they know consequences they go with it anyways. Risking your life to break the law doesn't excuse someone from penalty.
