So overtime I check myaccount.uscis it say pending action: none, does that mean anything?

Also my brother did his renewal too, his expiration date is on October 2016. He did his biometrics 2 weeks ago and after a week he already received his approval and last friday we received his new EAD CARD. Im a bit worried why he received his renewal sooner than I did when I have an earlier expiration. and he asked a lawyer to fix his renewal. Have you guys notice any pattern with renewals?
