I am not sure if an interim EAD is possible for DACA applicants, or if it was ever offered in the past. One important thing to understand is that USCIS does not handle EAD applications under DACA in the same way as other EAD applicants (e.g. H1B status). For example, you will not be able to request an expedite request of your DACA-EAD card whereas other EAD applicants are allowed as long as they meet certain criteria (DACA has different rules that USCIS is still developing with congress/court).

Based on USCIS's website, they claim that an extension of your EAD-DACA card is available (see here). In practice, however, you will find it is nearly impossible to get the approval for an extension. You can try your luck with an InfoPass appointment at your local USCIS branch. Best of luck.
