I get that DACA is a privilege, not a right. But does that mean that we should just say "oh well, I guess we just have to wait" and then before you know it, it's 2017??? The point is that we paid money for the application, and were told to apply within a certain time frame. Now thousands of cards are at risk of expiring (if they haven't already) and no one at USCIS seems to give a care about it. Why even bother to apply at 150 days if it's gonna take 6+ months to approve?
Renewals involve far less work than an initial application, so there is no justification as to why they're taking as long as they are. I'm beginning to wonder if they've started to devote less resources to DACA on purpose. With the political landscape the way it is nowadays, I wouldn't be surprised.
