zone2oo0's opinion is misguided. Yes, it is a privilege to be here: DACA folks are all familiar with the great educational opportunities provided to us, which we we have used to contribute back to the American workforce with our expertise in fields like tech, medical, education, etc. However, where you fall astray is believing that our lives and careers should be at the mercy of how efficiently USCIS decides to perform. The delays are not necessarily political, but rather a bureaucratic problem plaguing USCIS. As you pointed out, this an executive order, and if USCIS cannot execute their mission then shame on them.
At the end of the day, you and I are both DACAmented and should be working with the same mindset of pushing for permanent legalization. I am willing to bring attention to these delays in whatever possible way I can so that you and others ahead of me do not lose jobs over severe renewal delays like I've experienced.

Thing is, we are at their mercy.. and there's nothing you can do about it other than to contact your congressmen and be at their mercy too, the situation we're in HAS to be fixed, i get it but it's not going to happen any time soon. So with that being said, i hope you and everybody else who's careers are on the line get approved soon and then after that find a way to legalize the right way. In the mean time, prepare.
What if Trump wins and first day he takes office gets rid of DACA? What would we do? I'll tell you what i'll do, i'll keep doing the same thing i was doing before DACA, Work and keep on living. Yeah its going to be hard, but hey its a challenge.
