So I've decided to email NILC after I've saw that some of you had done it. I got this after a couple of hours:[i] We have been hearing much about recent delays in DACA renewals. We are working with authorities to address the issue. In the meantime, I have forwarded your email to a staff attorney who can help you check up on your individual renewal. Also, be sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook, as we will be posting updates about this issue.[i]

Then about 30 mins ago I got an email from the attorney! Here's her response:It is very concerning and disturbing to hear about this.  If you want, NILC can flag your case for USCIS headquarters in D.C and they may contact you directly.  If you want us to do so, please send me the following information:
-          Your A#/USCIS # and what service center your case is in
-          Date of your biometrics appointment
-          Description of the type of job that you had and how long you were working there
-          Brief description of any other hardship you are facing by having your EAD expire
Please also send me the best number and email to reach you.

I replied right away. Maybe this is an option for those of us that have expired permits? I'll keep you all posted.
