Hello:
My timeline is below. It took me forever to get my biometrics and thought I'd share if it may help you. If you have not done so already I would suggest you contact your congressman and Ombudsman.
This is my second renewal. My DACA renewal is at the Nebraska Service Center and the receipt number starts with an IOE.
May 19, 2016 -- renewal received by USCIS.
June 16, 2016 -- called USCIS since no biometrics appointment, but was told wait at least 30 days before making an inquiry.
June 20, 2016 -- Submitted a case inquiry online via the USCIS website:
https://egov.uscis.gov/e-Request/Intro.do
June 23, 2016 -- Received a response from the June 20, 2016 inquiry that I need to create an account at
https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov Also stated in the response that I will need an access code to link my pending cases. I never received an access code so I called USCIS on June 24, 2016 and was told to submit an inquiry to get the access code.
June 24, 2016 -- Submitted an inquiry at
https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/contactus to obtain the access code.
June 28, 2016 -- Received a call from USCIS tech help desk and provided me with an access code to create my account, but no biometric online letter when I login.
June 25, 2016 -- submitted an Ombudsman request online via
https://www.dhs.gov/case-assistance filling out (Form DHS-7001), but received a response from Ombudsman on July 1, 2016 that they will close my request since my case has not been pending for 105 days.
June 30, 2016 -- Submitted a Congressional inquiry and received a response on July 6, 2016 that to wait at least 60 days and if I don't get anything by them, then to contact my representative again.
July 15, 2016 -- Finally received my biometric appointment in the mail. July 26, 2016 -- completed my biometrics.
Best of luck to everyone! Be persistent and remain vigilant.
