What happened with this years renewals? Two years ago, I was approved within 2 months. This time, it appears to be longer, based on what you guys are reporting. It's been a while since I've visited.

Anyway, I've dropped the ball on mine. Waited late to renew. Mine expires 9/4 as well. I sent in mine back on 6/26, received a a notice that the biometrics appointment was sent on 7/16, received it and did my Bio (walk-in) on 7/19. It's been five weeks since, based on many of you...looks like I will be shit out of luck with no license.

Anyone know if I can get one of those California license that say "not for federal purposes".
