I'm taking an educated guess on timing.

My plan is to apply and push out start date.

It will take at least 1 week for me to get an offer after interviews etc..
I maybe will have 1 week to accept or deny.
Then I can push out start date at least 2-4 weeks.

So in my estimate if I apply today, I can have a start date of 10/3 or later at earliest. So it can range 1 - 4 months.

By then my hope is that USCIS has fixed their issues.

And at the very least, this will be interview practice, and motivation to have a good portfolio.
