As for resenting your parents.... I do resent my dad. Something that has been hard for me to deal with. He let the process drag on and when I pushed for it to happen, he got his green card when I had just turned 21! Well I've paid my dues and hope it'll be over soon.

I already started my career, and I was on my way to pivoting and starting a different path (from accounting to finance). This kind of problem makes me feel like I'm just going to keep starting and stopping my career for the next 6-8 years. Is that worth it?
Sometimes I consider moving to Canada or Australia or Singapore, but I'm worried that the second I move, US will pass CIR or something, and I will miss out.
