All,

I wanted to share my journey with you all about the renewal proceess this time around. I applied in April, did bio in May and was expired last week. This was the toughest and most anxious time in my life. I can tell you nothing helped me deal with this than God. I continued to pray and tried leaving this in Jesus's hand. I was suggested by my lawyer to not inform my work since they hadn't brought this up. I felt more anxious about this and it didnt sit well with me. I informed my work 2 weeks prior to the expiration and they informed me that I would have to take unpaid leave. Which I grateful for since some employers make you resign. My company also introduced me to an immigration lawyer who pushed me to schedule an InfoPass appointment. Unfortunately, I was only able to schedule the appointment for 2 weeks after my expiration.

I made countless phonecalls to the customer service #, and inquiries with no luck. Today, I called them again since I wasnt able to view my elis account and the rep told me my case is still pending. He then transferred me to tech support, who was able to help me log in. Much to my surprise I was now able to see Approved in my account.

I dont know why we are being tested but I have learned so much about the grace of God and everything ends up perfect in his timing. I would advice to have faith when it is the most hardest and to do the right thing.

I am praying for you all!!! We will get through this!
