They did not treat this like a big deal at all. However, my teams may be a different story. Yea, that's exactly what I was afraid of when I was nearing expiration. I work for a big non-profit sector and only 3 people know of the situation. However, it is quite awkward now. I'm updating them consistantly about the wait but I know they're in a weird place and so am I. They said they'll hang on for however long but it's also got me thinking to maybe look for other opportunities as well. I'm just praying we don't have to go through this again.
