From submittal to DACA Approval, 181 days. I'll probably be at 195 days when I get my EAD.

I was fixing to call up USCIS once again this morning, decided to check ELIS before doing so, and to my surprise, both DACA and EAD were approved. After 179 days or so of waiting, it's finally over.

I did everything except contacting my congressman. I live in a Republican state so I didn't even bother. Last service request was dated to 8-30-16 which told me to wait 30 days for action on my case. Called USCIS a few times in between to request updates but did not get many clear answers.

While I am glad my situation is finally coming to a close, it's certainly bittersweet. I know there are a few people who have been waiting for their cases for way longer than I have. Honestly I don't have any words other than I hope you don't have to deal with this again in 2 years time.

I'll certainly stick around and help any way I can, just like many of you have helped me. God Bless!
