Hello dreamers, first time posting here.

So my DACA application finally got approved yesterday, 9/21/16 but my EAD is still in process. When I check it on the case status it still says biometrics appointment was scheduled. How long does the EAD take to get accepted once the DACA app gets accepted?

Also do you think it's a bad idea if I start applying for jobs already? I figure it's gunna take a while for me to get a call back from a job so by the time I do get a call my EAD should be here by then. I've been out of a job since 7/21/16 so I'm pretty desperate right now.

Here's my timeline:
Sent DACA & EAD - 4/20/16
Received- 4/22/16
Biometrics -5/11/16
EAD expired - 7/21/16
DACA approved - 9/21/16
