Non-Citizens Driver’s License, Permit or Identification Card One-Time Extension

The Department of Driver Services provides a one-time 120-day extension for any non-citizen who meets the following requirements:
-Must be an existing DDS customer
-The Georgia license, permit or Identification card must have expired or must be expiring within thirty (30) days
-Must provide proof of having requested an extension for time to remain lawfully within the United States by presenting an original I-797C Notice of Action.

I called them and they confirmed that they will renew my license, I am really excited!!!!!!!!!!! I hope this help someone.

By the way here is my timeline:

Application received: 05/09/16
Biometrics taken:06/02/16
Expired: 09/23/16
EAD/DACA approval: Pending

Thank you so much for this! My license expired on the 25th, I went to the DDS today, and received the 120 day extension. The price is outrageous, but definitely worth it. This needs to be shared more, as I don't think a lot of people that expired in GA knows about this. At least I didn't until I read it yesterday. Thanks!
