I was approved yesterday! I did what was recommended by you beautiful people on this forum. Ombudsman, Telephonic Service Request, and NILC elevated my case twice (once last week and also this past Tuesday). I did contact my congressman but received no response.
My timeline is as follows:
Priority Date: 05/02/2016
Receipt Date: 05/05/2016
Biometrics: 05/13/2016
Expiration: 09/26/2016
Approval: 09/29/2016
EAD in hand: Pending
