Thank you for your inquiry dated September 29, 2016.
requesting information about your Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) package.
Our system shows that your DACA package, which was filed approximately Click here to enter a date., is pending and is within our current processing time. USCIS’ current goal is to process DACA requests within 120 days. You may submit an inquiry about the status of your request after it has been pending more than 105 days.
Unfortunately, agency guidelines do not allow for the expedited processing of DACA cases. Cases will be processed in the order in which they are received.
If your previous period of DACA expires before you receive a renewal of deferred action under DACA, you will accrue unlawful presence for any time between the periods of deferred action unless you are under 18 years of age at the time you submit your renewal request.
Similarly, if your previous period of DACA expires before you receive a renewal of deferred action under DACA, you will not be authorized to work in the United States regardless of your age at time of filing until and unless you receive a new employment authorization document from USCIS.
