Current Status on Both the Online Tracker and my ELIS Account for the 765: Case Was Approved: On September 26, 2016, we approved your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization , Receipt Number X. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
I'm a little confused since I don't see the "green card has been shipped" status that people have been getting after their EAD has been produced and shipped. I assume the 765 approval notice will include the EAD? Looks like it's at the stage where the card has been produced, but not shipped?
Also note how the red language on the current status of the 765 differs from my status on my 821D:
On October 6, 2016, we approved your Form I-821D, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, Receipt Number X, and sent you an approval notice. Please follow the instructions in your notice. If you do not receive your approval notice by November 5, 2016, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
