That's a shit ton of money, especially if you haven't been working since expiration . I dunno if you should go for it, unless you can get concrete proof that they can get you approved faster — which is highly improbable. Lawyers haven't been able to do squat in this situation. I'd say save your money and continue putting pressure on USCIS through all other means possible.
